'Fresh Chilli Deli' is a gouache study of an institute for Banh Mi in Sunshine, most lunchbreaks Olive and I will hastily walk over to place our confusing order of 'tofu roll with patè' [no chilli for me, add on a can of coconut water]. The rolls are fresh, wet and crusty. 10/10. This work is made as a part of a joint Art Residency, titled 'MARKET / PLACE', run by Olive Gilbert and myself in Sunshine Art Space, via Brimbank City Council. This residency is process-based, and will run for 6 weeks in total. This means it will continue running after it's launch on the 23rd February until the 6th March.
